Founded in the 1980s as part of Chemie Pharmacie Holland and becoming independent through a management buyout in 1999, CPH Chemicals combines deep roots in chemical trading with an entrepreneurial mindset. The current management team has been active in the company since 1985 and brings decades of hands-on market experience. Long-term partnerships, confidentiality, trust, and reliability are not abstract values but guiding principles embedded in our culture and internal training. Our heritage
CPH Chemicals traces its origins back to the 1980s, when it operated as a key division within BV Chemie Pharmacie Holland, part of the New York-based trading house Philipp Brothers. In 1985, BV Chemie Pharmacie Holland became an independent company, laying the foundation for CPH Chemicals’ future autonomy. A defining milestone followed in 1999, when a management buyout marked the start of a new phase of self-determination under the current management. Since 2005, CPH Chemicals has steadily expanded its international footprint, building a global office network to support customers and partners worldwide.

CPH Chemicals maintains an extensive and well-established network of producers and clients. In selected regions, including Eastern Europe and India, we act as agent for leading producers. Where appropriate, CPH Chemicals works under an open-book model.
